What is Constructed Set Roulette?
The same Set Roulette you loved by the Mythic Society - still run by GoblinCredible, just now under GoblinCredible Gaming!
The Constructed Set Roulette format was originally created by Pascal Maynard and his local friends with the intent of maximazing and showcasing players deckbuilding skills. Because of today's information traveling so fast thanks to the internet and the amount of games that are played in relevant formats, we've been having the feeling that Magic's deckbuilding aspect is not like it used to be.
We came up with the idea of determining at random 2 Big Expansions, 3 Small Expansions and a Core Set to become the constructed format that we would all play on an upcoming weekend. It was an absolute blast to brew for a few days and gather and play to see who came up with what. Imagine doing that online with TONS of players!
Here it is.
We are using the same rules, except we will only determine expansions at random within those available on Magic Online. The drawing of the 6 expansions will be done a week before the tournament, and posted on my social media.
From February to December the banlist will be decided by the community. A committee will be formed of any willing active player. You are not required to participate, but this will ensure that active players are helping decide the structure of the tournament. All other suggestions are welcome.
I will post on my social media when the expansions are (being) chosen, see Goblin's LinkTree for the links. Posts will be made on Twitter, Facebook, and Discord.

Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly will not result in restarting the match. If it happens to you and only you, it is your fault, it is unfortunately the only to deal with this in a fair way. Anything else will be dealt with in a civilized and fair fashion.
Refer to the Digital Tournament Rules and Digital Infraction Guide for more information.
Communication
You MUST be available in my Discord server at all times.
- In the event that there is a dispute between players, we may ask for a screenshot in order to better understand a situation, or as a way to have proof that something is occurring. We also highly-recommend that you take a screenshot of every Victory screen when playing in a tournament, showing both players’ names; in the event of a dispute over which player won a match, these screenshots will generally act as concrete-proof of a victory.
