Standard Pauper

16 Players! Nov, 18, 2023 12pm est.

The first UCW tournament will be a 16 player Standard Pauper tournament with a 50tix first place prize. The tournament will be swiss rounds baised on how many players. Only legal cards in this tournament will be current commons in the current Standard format rotation. A Scryfall link will below to help you build your deck. The Lost Caverns of Ixalan set releases Nov 17 and will be legal for the tournament!

Decks must be submitted by Nov 15, if you don't submit a deck by then, you will be disqualified. Submitting illegal cards will result in a game loss and you'll have to replace illegal cards with basic lands.

Payout for the tournament will happen immediatley after the final game.

The tournament will take place in the Pauper tournament practice rooms on Magic the Gathering Online (MTGO). Once paired on Melee.GG you will need to find your opponent in the tournament practice rooms with watchers turned on.

Below is a link to the Tournament Discord where we will have our player meet before the tournament at 11:45am eastern. Plus you can post deckbuilds and have general converstations with other players for the tournament.

Rules

  1. All cards must be commons from the current Standard format rotation. You may use alternate printing of legal cards. Playing illegal cards will result in a game loss and you'll have to change illegal cards with basic lands.
  2. Decks must be submitted by Nov 15, no deck changes after submission. If you change the deck after submission you will be given a game loss and must change back to original submitted list.
  3. You must have an MTGO account.
  4. Must have watchers turned on for the games.
  5. No harassing other player.
