Hello, and welcome to Mavericks! We carry a variety of TCGs and tabletop RPGs, and have one of the largest inventories of Magic the Gathering singles in the area! We run weekly events for MTG, Pokemon, Digimon, and D&D.

This event is located at Mavericks Mason 1065 Reading Rd. Mason, OH 45040

This event is a RCQ, it is a Pioneer event held at competitive REL where that winner gets an invite to the Dreamhack Regional Championship. The entry fee is $30 and prize payout is $1,000 of store credit distributed to the Top 8 players of the event. In addition there are unique promos that will be given out at the RCQ as well.

The event will be run on Event Link (Companion App) however we will be taking sign-ups as well as decklists here on Mtgmelee. Players are still more than welcome to bring a paper decklist instead of submitting it on Melee.

For paper printouts generated for this tournament, participants' names will be displayed using their full real names, irrespective of their profile's name display settings. This specification applies solely to printed materials.

This event is held at competetive rules enforcement, as such, decklists will be required for this event. You can either submit your decklist here on MTGMelee or bring a paper decklist in person. Additonally during the event players will be held to a higher standard of play.

Store dooors will open at 11:00 EST. Start time for the event is 12:00 EST, this will be a palyers meeting quickly followed with the start of round 1. The event will be a number of swiss rounds based on player count, these rounds will be followed with a cut to Top 8 which will be a single elimination bracket format.

The organizer has agreed to pay out prizes immediately after the tournament has ended.

Prize payout is in store credit which is usable on anything in the store. In addition to the $1,000 store credit payout there will also be RCQ promos which is a Flame Slash to 32 players, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to the top 8 and an additional foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx # to 1st place. The winner also gets an invite to the Dreamhack Regional Championship
