Owl Central Games is excited to host our second Regional Championship Qualifier for Season Two! This RCQ event will feature a $2,000 prize pool and most importantly, both finalists of this event will qualify for Season Two’s Dreamhack Magic Showdown, which is TBA for early 2023.
This special event will take place on Saturday December 10th and the tournament format will be Pioneer.

Early Registration: $50 - Early registration discount ends at 11:59pm on 12/07. The first 32 pre-registered players receive a Thraben Inspector RCQ Promo.

For paper printouts generated for this tournament, participants' names will be displayed using their full real names, irrespective of their profile's name display settings. This specification applies solely to printed materials.
Players will compete in Swiss paired rounds with a cut to Top 8 to determine prizes and qualification.
This is a Competitive Rules Enforcement Level event and will require the submission of decklists. MTG Melee will be the software used to administer the event - Decklists may be submitted through MTG Melee in advance, or submitted by paper at the Game Center. Online decklists through MTG Melee HIGHLY encouraged.

Players that fail to check in before registration closes at 10:55am may still play in the event with a Round 1 loss. Avoid this by making sure to register and check in on MTG Melee immediately upon paying for registration. This will be strictly enforced to ensure the tournament begins on time. There will be no refunds for players who pre-pay but fail to check-in on time.
The organizer has agreed to pay out prizes immediately after the tournament has ended.
The Prize Pool for Top 8 is $2,000 in store credit.

1st Place - $800 + Dreamhack Magic Showdown Season 2 Qualification + Foil Selfless Spirit RCQ Promo + Teferi Champion Pin and Lanyard Set
2nd Place - Minimum $400 + Dreamhack Magic Showdown Season 2 Qualification + Selfless Spirit RCQ Promo + Teferi Top 8 Pin
3rd/4th Place - $200 + Selfless Spirit RCQ Promo + Teferi Top 8 Pin
5th-8th Place - $100 + Selfless Spirit RCQ Promo + Teferi Top 8 Pin
All prizes are listed in store credit which can be spent at our Game Center and at www.owlcentralgames.com. Players may take a cash option for 75% of the store credit value won.
