The road to the Kaldheim Championship begins here! SCG Tour Online Satellites award qualifications and byes to the $5k Kaldheim Championship Qualifier to compete for $5,000, MTGArena gems prizes, and an invitation to the Kaldheim Championship!

Play in SCG Tour Online Satellite events on Magic Arena to earn an invitation and up to a two-round bye for the next $5k Kaldheim Championship Qualifier!
All players that earn at least 12 Match Points in a Satellite event will receive an invitation to participate in $5k the Kaldheim Championship Qualifier on Sunday, November 8th with an opportunity to win a share of $5,000 in cash, Magic Arena Gems, and an invitation to Wizards of the Coast’s Kaldheim Championship!
All players with 15 or more match points in a Satellite tournament will also earn an invitation to Wizards of the Coast’s Kaldheim Qualifier Weekend on December 19-20,2020.
Registration for all SCG Tour Online events will close 20 minutes prior to each event. No late registrations will be allowed. Remember that MTG Arena user names are CaSE SenSITive.
All SCG Tour Online events require decklists to be imported and submitted via your Player Controller prior to the beginning of the first round. Failing to submit a decklist will result in Tardiness penalties.
All SCG Tour Online events have open decklists. Each round, both your decklist and your opponent's will be available for reference in the MTGMelee Player Controller.
Pairings will be posted through MTGMelee and announced in the tournament channel of the SCG Tour Online Discord. Many options for notification are available in the profile options of MTGMelee, but players are solely responsible for receiving their pairings and conducting their matches in a timely manner.
Each round, your MTGMelee Player Controller will update to display your "Current Pairing".
Players are required to "Check-in" to every round. Simply click the green button to check-in to your match.
Once you've received your pairing, Direct Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena user name displayed (remember these are CaSe SeNsAtIvE) and the MTG Arena "TOURNAMENT MATCH" challenge option.
At the conclusion of your match, it is recommended that you take a screen shot of each match result screen. If there are any discrepancies in the match results, an admin may ask you for this as proof of your result. Then submit the match results in your Player Controller. (Note: there are no draws in SCG Tour Online events)
Each round will be 50 minutes including 5 minutes to check-in and begin your match. 15 minutes after round is paired, if a player has not communicated with their opponent or a tournament admin that player will lose the current round and be dropped from the event.
SCG Tour Online Satellite events are open to all players eighteen years of age and older.
Players must have accounts in good standing on MTG Arena, MTG Melee and Star City Games.
Players must not be currently suspended from participating in/on tabletop Magic: The Gathering events, SCG Tour Online events and/or tabletop SCG Tour events
Regional eligibility restrictions also apply, void where prohibited.
Players are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of the system running MTG Arena.
Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly is the sole responsibility of the player and will not result in restarting the match.
Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.

Problem with your match? Use the "Contact Tournament Staff" feature in the MTGMelee Player Controller and select your issue. Our staff will be in contact with you as quickly as possible.
In the event that there is a dispute between players, a tournament admin may ask for a screenshot or for you to share your screen on the SCG Tour Online Discord to better understand the situation or as a way to confirm that something is occurring. We highly-recommend that players take a screenshot of each "Victory" screen showing both players’ names. In the event of a results discrepancy, you may be asked to provide this as proof.
