Please go to Morituri eSports Twitch + subscribe to the channel ($5 value). This will be used to link your Twitch account + to confirm entry.

Prizing

Prizing will be sent VIA PayPal or etransfer. PLEASE do not enter this tournament unless you can accept tournament winnings this way. All $ amounts are Canadian (CAD). Refunds for subscription/entry are not possible.

5-8 players:

1st - $25 2nd - $15 3rd - $10

The tournament will happen as long as we have 5 or more players.

Schedule

Start time: May 4, 5:00pm (EDT - Eastern Time)

Reg. closes 10 min. before the tournament. Please check in before 5:00 PM (recommend 4:45pm) Round 1 begins at 5:00pm or shortly after Rounds usually take about 35-45 minutes. Please report your match promptly after finishing, and stay active in the player controller to hear the announcement for your next round. (Recommend turning speakers up for vocal announcement)

All functions will be performed in your player controller.

Decklist Submission

Decklists may be submitted until the 5:00pm start time, but we recommend having it in early to avoid any issues. If your decklist is not submitted by the start of the tournament, you WILL BE DROPPED. Refunds are not possible, so please, please be on time.

Decklists can be submitted in the player controller, and can be imported from arena or manually entered. Double check to ensure accuracy. All decklists in English, please.

Matches

Matches will be posted in the player controller and you will recieve a notification through MTGMelee, a voice notification and/or a text message (activate feature in profile settings.)

You must click "check-in" (green) to enter your match. Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena screen name displayed, and make sure the "Tournament Match - best of 3, coin flip" option is selected. Intentional draws are not allowed.

ARE YOU A STREAMER? EVER WANTED TO TRY?

Remember, even if you do not agree to "feature stream" with us, you STILL may end up on stream as an opponent of a featured player. If you have a good connection, let's talk! I'll be hosting feature matches for all rounds where someone is willing and available. Here's how it works:

Morituri eSports (and/or GoblinCredible) will be streaming the event from Twitch. YOU open Discord and stream directly in to Discord (super easy, I can help) I will then use a screen capture on my streaming software to send out the gameplay from your perspective, with myself adding webcam visual, commentary, logos, updates, etc.

We will set our account to support stream delay (of approx. 5min.) This will prevent other players from tuning in to "stream-snipe" and watch your hand as you play against them.

MoR Rules! (including tardiness)

If a player does not check-in by 5min. into a round, they will be DROPPED from the tournament. Opponent hasn't shown up? Give me a quick message through chat, and I'll make sure you're taken care of.

Please make sure that you communicate through MTGMelee (preferred) chat or our Morituri eSports Discord if you have any issues, questions or comments about the tournament! We recommend joining the Discord in case there are issues with MTGMelee. (Go down to MTG-tournament-room for Discord support)

Connection issues, crashes, fails, non-functions, etc. cannot result in a restart.

Unfortunately, if the issue is only reported by one player, that player must accept responsibility as the only fair way to deal with the situation. Please be confident in your connection as NO REFUNDS are possible for dropped players/connection issues. We will try to accomodate all other situations appropriately.
