Time to see what D&D can bring!
This is our Monthly open tournament! It's Standard Pauper this time!
Event winners will choose the format for following months tourney.
Our major communication will be through Discord https://discord.gg/QbnYYGKwpN, so we will be requiring you to be a member. This link will also be needed to verify your Discord if you haven't yet. In your Melee profile select "Third Party App" and paste the Discord link.
We will also be requiring decklists.
BO1 Arena specific cards will NOT be allowed.
Submit decklists through Melee. If you have a conflict with Melee then submit your decklist to Madman42 on Discord.
Type: Standard Pauper BO3
In this Magic: The Gathering Arena format, all cards must be common rarity only.
The following cards are banned:
Other than that, the usual rules for Constructed decks apply:

Players can report their own score. MTG Melee round timer will be used, rounds will be limited to 50 min. If you are still playing a game when the timer is depleted, that match may be a draw.
Automatic win IF opponent is AFK and non responsive within 10 min of the round starting.
Technical Issues: You as the player are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of your system running MTG Arena. Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly is the sole responsibility of the player and will not result in restarting the match. Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.
If you have issues submitting a decklist through Melee send directly to Madman42.
We will use the swiss paring bracket method for this tournament similar to DCI and other MTG tournaments. Pairings after round 1 will be based on points rather than win/loss record.
The winner of the Tournament will receive a code for a set of sleeves. This will be sent through Discord.
The winner will also be given the option to choose the format for the following month's event.
Contact Madman42#5070 on Discord if there are any questions.
