Connection/ In Game Issues

All connection issues are the responsibility of the players to work out. Everyone is responsible for their internet/computer to be in working condition! Any in-game issues, that need attention, must be brought to a staff member in a timely manner. All players should be aware of MTG Arena bugs/issues.

Tardiness Policy

Our tardiness policy for this event is 3/10. If you are not checked in within three minutes of the round timer beginning, you will receive a game loss. If you are not checked in within ten minutes of the round timer beginning, you will receive a match loss and will be dropped from the event.

Decklists

Decklists for this event are due at 8 PM PDT on July 30th. Players who submit after this time will not be allowed to participate in the event.

Rulings

All rulings made by Judges will be final.

Pairings

All pairings will be final once posted. Please listen out for any text/audio notifications on new pairings posted. Please consider signing up for SMS notifications on MTGMelee.

All players need to use "Tournament Challenge" when challenging your opponent.

Sometimes, players need to refresh the pairings page and ensure they are connected to MTG Melee servers to receive pairings/announcements. We are not responsible for players who exit the website and do not receive updates. Each player is expected to check on pairings continually to ensure they are not late to the round.

Rounds may begin early if all matches are finished. Penalties will be considered for players who do not join the matches on time.

Players are not allowed to intentionally draw.

Top 8 will be using the Play/Draw Rule. Higher Seed challenges and chooses.

Challenge Issues

Common issues arise when challenging other players, some of these are as follows:

1. Cannot connect to opponent

2. Rules/Settings not the same as your opponents

3. Cannot find username due to error or unrecognizable lettering

Please take the necessary steps to speak to your opponent before contacting a staff member. Adding each other on Friends List, restarting Arena, restarting router, and making sure all challenge details are the same as your opponents are all common fixes.

Coverage

We will be asking players to join our Discord and share their screens for our stream. We are streaming each round of the event with a delay to secure competitive integrity. Please join our Discord and watch for announcements.

By registering for this event, you are agreeing that we are able to use your (username, audio, video, etc.) for our stream/social media purposes.

Prizing

All prizing is payed out VIA PayPal.com!

Winners will receive a Discord message regarding prizing policies within ten days of the event ending.

Winner will need to verify their identity before receiving prizes.

Players can expect to be payed within 60 days after verifying their identities and confirming prize policies.

Legal Obligations

All players must be 18 years or older. Players between the ages of 13-17 will need to have a completed Parent/Guardian form. Which can be found here: Parent/Guardian Consent Form

All players must abide by all MTG Melee, Wizards of the Coast, and Insight Esports rules/code of conducts.

Our staff reserves the right to drop any player from the tournament by breaking any rules or code of conduct. Refunds, for this reason, will not be permitted.

1st: $2,000 USD + 60 Insights

2nd: $1,000 USD + 30 Insights

3rd-4th: $400 USD + 20 Insights

5th-8th: $200 USD + 15 Insights

9th-16th: $50 USD + 10 Insights

17th-24th: 5 Insights

These points will be registered toward our Fall season and will be valid when the season begins
