The Anime Spot Barbados and MAJH EVENTS (MAJH SUNDAY SERIES) are proud to host our first Joint Event- Friday Night MAJHIC(MAGIC)
This FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, 2021, come out and join the Discord where we will host our first Virtual-PAPER FNM. The Format will be COMMANDER (MULTIPLAYER) and the software used for matches will be SPELLTABLE.
THERE WILL BE A TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER WHO WILL HAVE FINAL SAY IN ANY RULINGS OR DISCREPANCIES.
THE START TIME IS 5:45 PM ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 26TH, 2021.
THE FORMAT IS COMMANDER (MULTIPLAYER)
THIS IS A PAPER EVENT- MANAGED VIRTUALLY OVER WEBCAM AND DISCORD
THERE WILL BE THREE ROUNDS LASTING 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES EACH
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED BASED ON POINTS. THERE WILL BE SPECIAL RULES INCL:
- FIRST BLOOD- THE PLAYER WHO DEALS THE FIRST DAMAGE OF THE GAME
- THIRD ONE STANDING- THE 2ND LAST PERSON (NOT THE WINNER)
- MULTI-KO'S- POINTS FOR EACH PERSON ELIMIATED BY SAME PLAYER (MUST BE MORE THAN 1 PERSON ELIMINATED TO QUALIFY)
- VOTED BE ST DECK - EACH POD VOTES ON THE MOST CREATIVE DECK- ONE RUNOFF VOTE IN THE EVENT OF A TIE- IF TIE AGAIN SPLIT THE POINTS.
- "LOOK MA' NO HANDS"- ENDED THE GAME WITHOUT DEALING DAMAGE AND/OR BEING DEALT DAMAGE"
See rules for Full list of Points- Please take notes of the points available and report to the Tournament Organizer at the end of each round. FAILURE TO REPORT ALL POINTS EARNED WILL RESULT IN THEM NOT CARRYING OVER TO THE END OF THE EVENT.
For each point to be awarded it has to be voted YES by all active players.
To claim a point for a Special clause- the active player must declare it- " I claim FIRST BLOOD" OR "FIRST BLOOD, WHAT SAY YE?" to which the table must answer "GRANTED". If a point was scored but not declared, the player may pause to get consesus. If less than three-forth of the players remember the point- IT WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
Here's the points system for each Pod.
+4 “FIRST PLACE”
+3 “SECOND PLACE”
+2 “THIRD PLACE”
+1 “FOURTH PLACE”
+1 “FIRST BLOOD”: The player who deals the first damage of the game.
+1.5 “MULTI-KO'S- Point(s) AWARDED when multiple players are eliminated by the same player (must have eliminated more than 1 person to qualify).
+0.5 “THIRD ONE STANDING”: The 2ND last person (not the winner).
+1 “VOTED BEST DECK”: Each pod votes on the most creative deck- one runoff vote
in the event of a tie- if tie again split the points.
+1 “ATARKA's COMMAND”: Attack 3 other players in one game.
+2 "LOOK MA' NO HANDS": Ended the game without dealing damage and/or being dealt damage."
- 0.5 “FAIL TO FIND”: Searching your library for longer than 1 full minute.
-1 “GREEDY PAWS” Taking an opponent’s permanents but not winning the Game (or eliminating that opponent).
-1 “OPPOSING AGENCY”: Casting the cards ‘Opposition Agent” or “Hullbreacher” more than once in a single game.
-1 “CORPORAL TIM”: Not casting your general for the entire game.
-2 “WINNERS DON’T TAKE ALL”- Ending the game with a card with text that says, “you win the game”.
The Prizes for winning each pod will be as follows:
1st PLACE 4 Points

"Terminator" (eliminated the most players- 1 pack
"Most Def's" (lost the most games)- 1 pack
"Flawless-ish" Didn't lose first AND didn't win a single game- 1 Pack
"Mathmatician"(Finished a game with 10 lifepoints more than your starting life total)1 point
"Winning at 1"(Won a game at less than 5 life)- 1 Pack
"Attack All" (Attacked for 100 points of damage in a single game)- 1 Pack
"Count Denial" (Countered 12 spells in a single game)- 1 pack
BONUS
"NICE GUYS FINISH LAST"(COLLECT ALL THE MINUS POINTS IN A SINGLE GAME)- 1 Pack
