Welcome to the Opening Event for The Tin Street Tournament Series! This event is the first Constructed Event in the Tin Street Tournament Series! This event is FREE as it's our first one!

Decklists

All Tin Street Tournament Series events require decklists to be imported and submitted via your Player Controller prior to the beginning of the first round. Any player who fails to submit a decklist will be dropped from the event.

All Tin Street Tournament Series events have open decklists. Each round, both your decklist and your opponent's will be available for reference in the Melee.gg Player Comtroller.

Check-In

Players are required to check-in by opening the Melee.gg Player Conteroller prior to the start of the event. Pre-event Check-In will be open 60 minutes before the event begins. Any Player who fails to check-in prior to the event will be dropped.

Pairings

Pairings will be announced in the form of an MTG.Melee notification, and Discord Server Announcment

Each round, your Melee.gg Player Controller will update to display your "Current Pairing".

Players are required to "Check-in" to every round. Simply click the green button to check-in to your match.

Matches

Once you've received your pairing, Direct Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena user name displayed (remember these are CaSe SeNsAtIvE) and the MTG Arena "TOURNAMENT MATCH" challenge option.

At the conclusion of your match, it is recommended that you take a screen shot of your match result. If there are any discrepancies in the match results, an admin may ask you for this as proof of your result. Then submit the match results in your Player Controller. (Intentional draws not allowed)

Each round will be 50 minutes including 5 minutes to check-in and begin your match. 15 minutes after round is paired, you will lose the current round and be dropped from the event if you have not communicated with your opponent or a tournemant admin.

Format

This event is Traditional Historic Format (Best of 3). We will be playing swiss with a cut to top placings (depending on number of entrants).

Feature Matches

Feature Matches will be streamed on the Tin Street Tavern Twitch channel, so please be ready to join Discord for the stream.

Please make sure that you're joining the Discord as this will be how we contact you for feature matches. By entering this event, you accept that if you're chosen for a feature match, you will share you screen via Discord for the stream.

Misc Rules

Deck Tracking tools, such as MTGA Assistant, are allowed. Decklists are open for this event.

Players are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of the system running MTG Arena.

Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly is the sole responsibility of the player and will not result in restarting the match.

Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.

Tournament Registration ends on 9/19 at 10:00 AM CST. Decklist Submissions are due on 9/19 by 10:30 AM CST. Check-in for the tournament starts at 11:00 AM CST and runs until 11:45 AM CST Tournament Starts at 12:00 PM CST.

This event is sponsored by HEGames. Prize support will include 1 pack of Zendikar Rising per person to the prize pool. Pay out will go to players who make the cut-off after swiss rounds, and based on placing in the Finals Bracket.

Problem with your match? Use the "Contact Tournament Staff" feature to select your issue. Our staff will be in contact with you as quickly as possible.

In the event that there is a dispute between players, a tournament admin may ask for a screenshot or for you to share your screen on the Tin Street Tavern Discord to better understand the situation or as a way to confirm that something is occurring. We highly-recommend that players take a screenshot of each "Victory" screen showing both players’ names. In the event of a results discrepancy, you may be asked to provide this as proof.
