Tournament Structure

Maximum number of players: 200

Format: Standard, Best of 3

OPEN DECKLISTS - PLAYERS THAT DID NOT SUBMIT THEIR DECKLIST BEFORE ROUND 1 WILL BE DROPPED.

We will test a multi-phase event:

• Phase 1: 3 rounds of swiss, players with 6 or more points advance. (Points on phase 1 counts to advance on phase 2 and 3 so a 3-0 results is very good)
• Phase 2: 2 rounds of swiss, players with 12 of more total points advance to Phase 3. (Total points: P1+P2)
• Phase 3: 2 rounds of swiss, top16 players with more points advance to the playoffs.(Total points: P1+P2+P3)
• Phase 4: Playoffs with single elimination. Higher seed chooses play or draw.

Prize Pool* (USD+):

• 1st: $100

• 2nd: $70

• 3/4th: $35 each

• 5-8th: $20 each

• 9-16th: $10 each

• Prizes will be in Gift Cards converted in your local currency in a Store in one of the following countries: Brazil, Bolivia, Panama, Paraguay or Peru.

• Players from North America will get their prizes as gift cards at https://mtgproshop.com/

• If you live in another country, any prize you get will be donated to Doctors without borders (msf.org).

• Players streaming the event that reach the Playoffs will get a $10 bonus. To be eligible to get the bonus, players need to link their twitch account to mtgmelee.com and stream the event until they are eliminated.

Rules:

• Players that didn't submit the decklist before the tournament starts will be dropped.

• Everything happens in your "Player Controller" page. Pairings will be announced in the form of a notification and your player controller page will display your pairing in the "Current Pairing" section.

• You must click the green button to check-in to your match.

• Your opponent’s decklist will display in the bottom left corner.

• Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena screen name displayed and the MTG Arena "TOURNAMENT MATCH" challenge option.

• Submit your Match result. (Intentional draws not allowed)

• Matches wont be restart by any circunstances. If a player loses their connection during a match and cant come back in time to finish, they will lose the match.

• You will have 10 minutes to check-in and start your matches. You will be dropped if you don't start communicating with an admin or your opponent 10 minutes after the round is paired. Pay attention to all notifications throughout the tournament.
