For paper printouts generated for this tournament, participants' names will be displayed using their Melee.gg usernames, irrespective of their profile's name display settings. This ensures uniformity and respects privacy on printed materials.

FORMAT:

The format of the tournament is No Banlist Modern! That means it follows the official Modern deckbuilding rules except for nothing being banned. Remember to register your decklist before the tournament starts!

TOURNAMENT LOGISTICS:

The tournament will consist of 5 or 6 rounds of swiss, depending on the amount of players, followed up by a top 8 playoff.

The tournament is open decklists. After you get paired, you should see your opponent's decklist in your Player Controller.

After getting paired and checking in for the match, please contact your opponent through MTGMelee chat and set up a match on Magic Online -> Constructed -> Specialty -> Freeform Tournament Practice. Do not use the "Challenge Player" function, as that results in clocks being 40 minutes.

If you ignore this request, you will still need to abide by 25 minutes per player clock. If your opponent drops below 15 minutes, please send me the screenshot confirming that.

COVERAGE:

I will be covering a match every round. You could be asked to share your screen with me - I will send you a vdo.ninja link. Remember that everything that happens on your screen will be recorded at that time, so be careful! Unfortunately Magic Online can't be window captured.
