General Information

  • This is meant to be a fun and competitive event for the community of Jaffer.
  • Communication with moderators and other players (outside of matches) will be done through the Jaffer's Community Discord or by submitting a ticket on MTG Melee.
  • Format: Explorer Best of Three
  • The tournament starts at 11:30 AM CST
  • There will be prizes for the top 4 players!
  • -Patreon Members and Twitch Subscribers to Jaffer's channel receive increased prize support.
  • Communication outside of MTG Melee will be done in Jaffer's Community Discord.

Coverage

There will be no coverage provided of the event. Jaffer might be streaming earlier in the day and stream his side of games.

For paper printouts generated for this tournament, participants' names will be displayed using their Melee.gg usernames, irrespective of their profile's name display settings. This ensures uniformity and respects privacy on printed materials.

To unenroll after you must contact the organizer.

Enjoy yourself!

  • Format: Explorer Best of Three
  • Decklists must be submitted by 11:20 AM CST the day of the event.
  • If no decklist is submitted, you will be dropped from the event
  • Tournament starts 11:30 AM CST
  • Rounds and cut to top players will depend on tournament attendance.
  • No intentional draws in this event.
  • Prizes are not elligable to be split.
  • Communication outside of MTG Melee will be done in Jaffer's Community Discord.

-Time in rounds

  • The time in each round is 50 minutes.
  • You have up to 5 minutes to connect with your opponent and start your match.
  • Please contact a judge if no connection with opponent after 5 minutes.

Technical Issues

  • You as the player are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of your system running MTG Arena.
  • Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly is the sole responsibility of the player and will not result in restarting the match.
  • Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.

The organizer has agreed to pay out prizes in 14 days or less.

Prize support will be provided to the top four players in the choice of gift cards for Cool Stuff Inc., Rogue Energy, or Ultra Pro gift cards. Twitch Subscriber/Patreon members receive an additonal $5 on top of normal prize support.
