How it works

The Fabled Package is for players who want to make a full weekend out of their Calling experience. Package includes entry to The Calling, three (3) vouchers for side events, and a Cold Foil Young Kano promo (limit one young Kano per player). The Calling is Flesh and Blood's largest open entry events where players can participate for their share of $20,000, a Pro Tour Invite (PTI), and Gold Cold Foil Legendary cards.

The Calling Event Structure

The Calling at Flesh and Blood Nationals is Classic Constructed. Players participate in Swiss rounds on Day One based on attendance. Players that advance to Day Two will play in five (5) Swiss rounds followed by a cut to a single elimination Top 8.

Registration

Registration for the Fabled Package is available until Thursday, September 22nd 2022.
Players must check in to receive their vouchers and promo.
Players can turn in their voucher for free entry into an eligible event at the stage.
Players must have their GEM ID in their Melee.gg profile in order to enroll.

Decklists

Deck lists for The Calling will be submitted on paper at the start of Round One (1).
Deck lists for The Calling that are not submitted on time will be subject to Tardiness penalties.

To unenroll after you must contact the organizer.

All tournaments at Flesh and Blood Nationals will be run according to the Flesh and Blood Tournament Rules.

Pairings

Pairings will be available in your Profile on the Flesh and Blood offical website.
It is each Player's sole responsibility to find their pairings and report to their matches for the beginning of each round of their events.

Matches

Round length will be determined by event format.
It is the responsibility of the winner of any given match to ensure that the result is reported and recorded correctly. However if either player notices a discrepancy between the actual result of the match, and the reported match result, they must bring the error to the attention of a tournament official immediately.

Eligibility

Players must have accounts in good standing with MTG Melee, Legend Story Studios, and Star City Games.
Players must not be currently suspended from participating in Flesh and Blood events and/or Star City Games events.
Regional eligibility restrictions also apply, void where prohibited.

The Calling Schedule

Registration closes at 9:50 am on Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

Round One (1) will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

Swiss rounds on Day One will be determined by attendance - Seven (7), Eight (8), or Nine (9) Rounds.

Top 64 players, or all players with two (2) or less losses will advance to Day Two.

Day Two will start at 9:00 am on Sunday, September 25th, 2022.

Cut to a Single Elimination Top 8 at the conclusion of the Swiss rounds.

The organizer has agreed to pay out prizes in 30 days or less.

2nd: $3,000.00, Professional Tournament Invitation, Random Gold Foil Legendary
3rd-4th: $1,000.00, Professional Tournament Invitation, Random Gold Foil Legendary
5th-8th: $800.00, Professional Tournament Invitation, Random Gold Foil Legendary
9th-32nd: $200
